Coating

COATING (DRY PROCESS)
Coating (Dry Process) is an artificial leather system producing with transfer paper method. This step is a polyurethane system that involves artificial deep bonding of the product from the upper surface, the middle surface and the coagulation stage.

COATING - TOP SURFACE
It is the part that forms the top surface of artificial leather. At this stage, aliphatic polyurethane resins exhibiting excellent resistance to sunlight are used. Frictial and physical strength are required in applications other than artificial skin. For this reason, they are harder than polyurethane resins used in other stages.

COATING - MEDIUM SURFACE
The polyurethane resins used in this stage in the middle of artificial leather production are usually in medium hardness. At this stage, the elongation values at break are above 600mm as polyurethane resins provide artificial flex resistance. Usually, aromatic polyurethane resins are preferred.

COATING - BONDING
The products coming from coagulant and products and the ones coming from coating phase are bonded each other during the lamination phase. The used polyurethane resins are very soft and strong adhesion products.
